Team 8-3 Homework

Science with Mrs. Brown--  Today we worked on identifying the characteristics of Red Giant, White Dwarf and Main Sequence stars using the stars luminosity and surface temperature.
                                                                                              
Homework-   Finish answering the questions on the Comparing the Sun Activity question sheet.  Be sure to write in complete sentences.


History with Mr. Kaslon--   We filmed the final cut on our Declaration of Independence Common Craft project.  Next, we answered our Declaration of Independence objective (the 5 W's) and watched a music video called "It's too late to apologize."  Finally, we watched 5-10 minutes of John Adams.                        
                     
Homework--  If you did not finish your Declaration of Independence rewrite and picture make sure it is finished by the beginning of class tomorrow.....I will accept it but it will counted late.  The 5 question quiz over the Declaration of Independence (5 W's) is tomorrow at the beginning of class.  You can always review your notes to prepare for upcoming quizzes or tests.                      

English with Mrs. Szymanski--  Students reviewed finding subjects in sentences and then learned the process for finding both the subject and the predicate in a sentence. We put some notes in our notebooks and then did a practice activity.
Homework-- Finish finding subjects and predicates worksheet. Read.

Pre-Algebra with Ms. Ockinga--   We reviewed for the quiz tomorrow by playing Kahoot
Homework--  Study for the quiz by reviewing sections 1-1 and 1-2 and your notes.

Algebra with Mrs. Ockinga-- We reviewed for the quiz on the first half of chapter 1.  Review 1-1 through 1-4.
Homework -  STUDY!

Homework:  Answer the questions on the Variables worksheet. Tuesday--   Practice identifying variables in experimental designs. Homework:  Finshing the Variables 2 worksheet if you did not get it done in class. Wednesday--   Writing a hypothesis for the testable science questions.
