Team 8-3 Homework

Science with Mrs. Brown--  Students filled out the Constellation sheet that parents need to sign when the Summer Triangle is located in the night sky.   Students read the Constellation stories of Cygnus, Lyra and Aquila and then began the Constellations and Asterisms August Constellation WS.
                                                                                              
Homework-   Get the Constellation of the Month Parent Information sheet signed and turned in by Aug. 30 and look for the Summer Triangle.


History with Mr. Kaslon--   Students continued to read p. 98-100 and work on the 3.5 study guide.  Halfway through class we went over the study guide and questions were answered.  The last 10 minutes we started watching a history video to review what we have learned.                 
                     
Homework--  Students who did not complete the 3.5 study guide need to finish it by Tuesday next week.  Students can review all of the objectives we have covered so far this term (3.1-3.9).                      

English with Mrs. Szymanski--   Students learned words with the suffix -ness and then took notes over nouns and pronouns.

Homework--   Watch the videos on Classroom and take notes over adjectives, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Read.

Pre-Algebra with Ms. Ockinga--   We reviewed for the quiz tomorrow by playing Kahoot
Homework--  Study for the quiz by reviewing sections 1-1 and 1-2 and your notes.

Algebra with Mrs. Ockinga-- We reviewed for the quiz on the first half of chapter 1.  Review 1-1 through 1-4.
Homework -  STUDY!

9/21/17 Team 8-3 Homework Other items of importance: Parent-Teacher Conferences next Monday. Join us for "drop-in" times next Monday from 4 - 5:30 pm or sign up for an appointment  here  .    Science with Mrs. Brown--    Today we worked on identifying the characteristics of Red Giant, White Dwarf and Main Sequence stars using the stars luminosity and surface temperature.                                                                                                 Homework-      Finish answering the questions on the Comparing the Sun Activity question sheet.  Be sure to write in complete sentences. Homework:  Answer the questions on the Variables worksheet. Tuesday--   Practice identifying variables in experimental designs. Homework:  Finshing the Variables 2 worksheet if you did not get it done in class. Wednesday--   Writing a hypothesis for the testable science questions.
