Everyone should be finished writing their rough draft by the end of today so they are ready to write their final copy tomorrow in class. The paper can also be typed at home if need be.
HOMEWORK – Some students may need to get their rough draft finished at home so they are ready to write their final draft in class tomorrow.

History with Mr. Kaslon- Students took the 16.6-16.7 quiz today and were allowed to use their study guide on the quiz. For the rest of the period we dissected the Eldorado poem by Edgar Allen Poe and discussed its meaning.
HOMEWORK – Read 16.8-16.9 and complete the learning opportunity for the quiz on Monday. Students will be able to use their learning opportunity on the quiz.

English with Mrs. Szymanski-Students began day 1 of the statewide writing assessment by reading the prompt, making a web, and writing their rough drafts. Tomorrow they will revise, edit, and write their final copies.
HOMEWORK: Get plenty of rest and bring a black or blue pen!

Pre-Algebra with Ms. Klein-We introduced proportions as a comparison of two ratios that can be solved by using cross-products.
HOMEWORK-No homework. Finish the dimensional analysis worksheet to hand in Friday. QUIZ on Dimensional Analysis on Friday.

Algebra with Ms. Klein - We looked at the different types of solutions to a systems of linear equations.
HOMEWORK- Read section 7.5. Do on page 429 #12-29

History with Mr. Kaslon- Questions were answered over 16.2-16.5 and students took a quiz over those four sections. For the rest of the period students read 16.6-16.7 and worked on the learning opportunity. Students will be able to use the learning opportunity on the quiz.
HOMEWORK – Read and finish the 16.6-16.7 learning opportunity for tomorrow.
