9/26/17 Team 8-3 Homework Other items of importance: Parent-Teacher Conferences next Monday. Join us for "drop-in" times next Monday from 4 - 5:30 pm or sign up for an appointment  here  .    Science with Mrs. Brown--    Today we worked on identifying the characteristics of Red Giant, White Dwarf and Main Sequence stars using the stars luminosity and surface temperature.                                                                                                 Homework-      Finish answering the questions on the Comparing the Sun Activity question sheet.  Be sure to write in complete sentences. History with Mr. Kaslon--     Students took a quiz over the Declaration of Independence.  After the quiz we continued to watch part of John Adams.                                                Homework--   If you did not finish your Declaration of Independence rewrite and picture make sure you finish it and turn it in to me.  I will accept it but it will counted late.

History with Mr. Kaslon--     We did a practice run on our Declaration of Independence Common Craft project.  Students turned in their rewritten part of the Declaration today for a grade.  Everyone will turn in their picture tomorrow when we do the final cut for the Common Craft Project.  For the rest of the class we continued watching John Adams.

History with Mr. Kaslon--     We started by working on the Thomas Paine "Common Sense" assignment for 10 minutes.  For the rest of class we read the Declaration of Independence and talked about our class project on the Declaration of Independence.  Students were assigned 1 or 2 parts to rewrite and draw a picture for.  We will work on this in class for 30 minut

Join us for "drop-in" times Tuesday and next Monday from 4 - 5:30 pm or sign up for an appointment  here  .    Science with Mrs. Brown--    Science for the week.  If you were gone any of the days this week, here are the things that need to be taken care of.  We took notes on pages 7-11 in your journal.  Check your journal and get caught up.  We finished the conclusion questions on the light lab and handed it in. Today we discussed Black Holes and the Life Cycle of the Sun and other stars.                                                                                                  Homework-    Moon Watch started last night.  You need to get the information checked for your yellow log sheet.  Sky sheets were handed out.  You will need one.  Quiz tomorrow over pages 5, 7-11 in your journal.
