Team 8-3 Homework

Science with Mrs. Brown--  Today we worked on identifying the characteristics of Red Giant, White Dwarf and Main Sequence stars using the stars luminosity and surface temperature.
                                                                                              
Homework-   Finish answering the questions on the Comparing the Sun Activity question sheet.  Be sure to write in complete sentences.


History with Mr. Kaslon--   We started by reviewing "Henry and the Cannons" and answering the objective.  Next, we looked at Thomas Paine's pamphlet "Common Sense" and worked on rewriting some of his quotes in our own words.  The rest of the worksheet was assigned as homework that needs to be turned in this Thursday.                  
                     
Homework--  Finish your Common Sense worksheet for Thursday.  Still no quiz, but it is coming soon....keep studying.  You can always review your notes.                      

English with Mrs. Szymanski--  Students reviewed direct and indirect objects and submitted their assignments. Then, we discussed prepositional phrases and took notes over them. We began a prepositions practice worksheet.
Homework-- Finish "Teen Titans" prepositions worksheet. Read.

Pre-Algebra with Ms. Ockinga--   We reviewed for the quiz tomorrow by playing Kahoot
Homework--  Study for the quiz by reviewing sections 1-1 and 1-2 and your notes.

Algebra with Mrs. Ockinga-- We reviewed for the quiz on the first half of chapter 1.  Review 1-1 through 1-4.
Homework -  STUDY!

Homework:  Answer the questions on the Variables worksheet. Tuesday--   Practice identifying variables in experimental designs. Homework:  Finshing the Variables 2 worksheet if you did not get it done in class. Wednesday--   Writing a hypothesis for the testable science questions.
