Team 8-3 Homework

Science with Mrs. Brown--  Today we worked on identifying the characteristics of Red Giant, White Dwarf and Main Sequence stars using the stars luminosity and surface temperature.
                                                                                              
Homework-   Finish answering the questions on the Comparing the Sun Activity question sheet.  Be sure to write in complete sentences.


History with Mr. Kaslon--   Students took a quiz in google classroom over the Boston Tea Party and Battles of Lexington and Concord.  Next, we went outside and reenacted the Battle of Bunker Hill.  Finally, students were told that we will have a tea party on Monday.  Students can bring a favorite stuffed animal to snuggle with while they drink pine needle tea and listen to a Revolutionary story.  Students can also bring a a cookie or a small snack to eat while they drink tea.                
                     
Homework--  Don't forget to bring your snack and stuffed animal with you to class on Monday for our tea party.  You can also bring your own fancy tea cup too.  You can always review your notes.                      

English with Mrs. Szymanski--   Students reviewed verbs ending in "ing" and then learned what transitive verbs are.
Homework-- Read.

Honors English with Mrs. Szymanski--  Students reviewed verbs ending in "ing" and then learned what transitive verbs are.

Pre-Algebra with Ms. Ockinga--   We reviewed for the quiz tomorrow by playing Kahoot
Homework--  Study for the quiz by reviewing sections 1-1 and 1-2 and your notes.

Algebra with Mrs. Ockinga-- We reviewed for the quiz on the first half of chapter 1.  Review 1-1 through 1-4.
Homework -  STUDY!

History with Mr. Kaslon--     We started by working on the Thomas Paine "Common Sense" assignment for 10 minutes.  For the rest of class we read the Declaration of Independence and talked about our class project on the Declaration of Independence.  Students were assigned 1 or 2 parts to rewrite and draw a picture for.  We will work on this in class for 30 minut

Homework:  Answer the questions on the Variables worksheet. Tuesday--   Practice identifying variables in experimental designs. Homework:  Finshing the Variables 2 worksheet if you did not get it done in class. Wednesday--   Writing a hypothesis for the testable science questions.
