Homework-   


History with Mr. Kaslon--   Students learned reasons why Europeans colonized North America and hardships they faced when they arrived.  We read p. 72-73 in the history book and answered a 3 question study guide.  We also watched a 3 minute video on the Jamestown settlement.  For the last 5 minutes of class students started to identify and locate the Original 13 Colonies.  We will finish the map tomorrow.            
                       
Homework--  Students can always review objectives and assignments from class.  There will be a quiz on Friday over what we learn on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.                    

English with Mrs. Szymanski--

Pre-Algebra with Ms. Ockinga--   We reviewed integer operations by playing card games. 

Homework--  Worksheet on integer operations. 

Algebra with Mrs. Ockinga-- We looked at section 1-1 about writing algebraic expressions.

9/21/17 Team 8-3 Homework Other items of importance: Parent-Teacher Conferences next Monday. Join us for "drop-in" times next Monday from 4 - 5:30 pm or sign up for an appointment  here  .    Science with Mrs. Brown--    Today we worked on identifying the characteristics of Red Giant, White Dwarf and Main Sequence stars using the stars luminosity and surface temperature.                                                                                                 Homework-      Finish answering the questions on the Comparing the Sun Activity question sheet.  Be sure to write in complete sentences. History with Mr. Kaslon--     We started by working on the Thomas Paine "Common Sense" assignment for 10 minutes.  For the rest of class we read the Declaration of Independence and talked about our class project on the Declaration of Independence.  Students were assigned 1 or 2 parts to rewrite and draw a picture for.  We will work on this in class for 30 minut

Homework:  Answer the questions on the Variables worksheet. Tuesday--   Practice identifying variables in experimental designs. Homework:  Finshing the Variables 2 worksheet if you did not get it done in class. Wednesday--   Writing a hypothesis for the testable science questions.
