Team 8-3 Homework

**Topics are listed in the weekly plans at the beginning of the week.  Assignments will be added and adjusted as the week progresses.  Plans are tentative and could change throughout the week.  Do not totally rely on the Team Homework Blog.  The best way for students to stay organized is for them to use their planner everyday.

History for the WEEK with Mr. Kaslon--   


Monday--  We started the week with a Monday Motivation video about being positive and doing your best.  Next, students did a self-evaluation on their conduct in history class.  Then we practiced for student led conferences.  For the rest of the class students worked their Mountain Man Postcard.    
   
Homework:    The Mountain Man Postcard is due this Thursday.

Tuesday--  Today we started learning about the Texas Revolution.  We watched a video and filled out questions on a study guide.  
  
Homework:  The Mountain Man Postcard is due this Thursday.

Wednesday--  We continued learning about the Texas Revolution and the Alamo.  We finished watching the history channel video and completed the questions on the study guide.

Homework:  The Mountain Man Postcard is due tomorrow.  

Thursday--  Today we looked at several different primary sources about the Texas Revolution and the Alamo.  Students read old newspaper articles and diary entries to see a different perspective of Texas Independence.  

Homework:  Study your objectives to prepare for the next quiz.

Friday--  We reviewed the Texas Revolution and the Alamo.  The Alamo Postcard project was also introduced today.  Students began working on the Alamo Postcard.
